Talking with Everyone!

Hey everybody,

Wow this week was amazing! we put a goal this week to talk with 60 people, it didn't have to be a contact just to talk with them. Can i just say super hilarious and incredible this was. We started out and just talked with people, at first we just walked down the streets and just stopped by people who were sitting down, the next day we walked after people who were walking and then the next day we were fighting each other to talk with the person, sometimes running after them, and the people would see us coming, talking with everyone. So they are thinking, oh snap they're coming to talk, and they would change their direction or walk across the street and just completely avoid us. We found a group of women sitting and talking, and i wanted to contact them so i went up with a handful of cards of Jesus Christ and one of the woman saw me coming, of course i was smiling from ear to ear, and she leaned over to her friend and they both were kinda in shock and started to recite a prayer from the rosary beads and when i came up i said hello! The one woman was like 'what do you want?' and i asked if i could share the cards that i had, she said that they were praying. So i left. but super funny, we have had other people just take the card and keep walking and we walk behind them talking to them the whole way. We ended up talking with 59 people, yeah one short, i miscounted.

We had a really good traditional Mexican food, beans with cheese, soooooooo good and not just any kind of beans, frijoles puercos with queso fresco! we also had a chance to do a ward activity and i had the sombreo! soy mexicana!

This week was great, we were really tired and yet spiritually uplifted to be able to do the Lords work we were so excited to do what we could and really just talk and share the gospel with others. We were able to find 3 new families and they are good families, we are so excited to share the gospel with them and they can learn more about who is Jesus and his plan for his children.  We have two weeks left to the transfer and its for sure one of us will leave, my companion is going to die this next transfer, will return home to her house in Argentina and so she will most likely move or go to another area. I am so excited to be here, i love teaching the people and doing all that i can to be here and serve the people. i love you all have a good week!

Always Happy,
