Culiacan! Visa!

Hey Everyone,

This week has been crazy and amazing, opportunities to grow spiritually and just learning the importance of the power of Atonement, i love it. Its amazing to see this week go and come just like it was yesterday, and speaking of yesterday sorry for not writing, we were in Culiacan all day getting the visa for my companion. We started at 5:30 in the morning and we took a bus that i had always wanted to take, the double-decker! it was amazing!!! we sat in the very front row and the guy sitting next to us was dead asleep, so asleep that he snored the whole three hours to Culiacan! he shook the bus, we had an elder sitting in the very back and he said that he could hear him. Needless to say we didn't get any sleep at all. :/  We then spent all morning in the offices of the Mission waiting for the visa, we left at 4 in the afternoon, and took 3 more hours home, thank goodness there was no one snoring the whole time.

We have had a great week our recent convert came with us to teach some people and we only got rejected and no one wanted to hear anything, it was a really hard day. I think this is where it comes more of diligence and enduring to the end, doing all that you can, keeping all of the commandments and knowing that there is hope at the end of the tunnel, I know this to be true there have been times when it has seemed very dark and yet there was always a little light ready to help. We all have weaknesses and sometimes we don't feel worthy and we just want to change and be strong and continue without fault, I really like the scripture in 2 Cor. 12 it talks about Paul asking the lord to take away his faults, he asked three times and in the end the lord says that we have faults to be strong.

I hope that everyone is doing great. Have a good Año Nuevo, go to the temple!

Always Happy,
